It’s DAY THREE of Staples’ 5 DAYS OF DEALS. Today’s deals include leather executive chairs, Notebook PC, Digital Frames and more.

Montreal – looks like you’re having a massive TOMMY HILFIGER SALE over the next two weeks. Time to get some great jeans!

Edmontonians, you’ve got a brand new FARMERS’ MARKET to visit. Fresh baked goods. Fresh Produce. Atisans.
Thursdays, 2 – 7pm.

The Regina LADIES CHOIR TEA MUSICAL is having their final concert (presumably of the season) on Sunday – only $12!

And for those of you preferring to hang out at home, Knowledge Network almost always has something of interest to watch. Check out their weekend lineup, which includes a documentary on Ansel Adams.

Me? I’m looking forward to Yellowknife’s first ever YKTweetup at (still unwired, but we love it anyways) Javaroma cafe.

    Tommy who? 🙂

It’s funny, the mother of a friend of mine has a house on Nantucket, an island off the coast of southwestern Cape Code in Massachusetts, and he’s invited me out there a few times for weekend visits. The first time I went, we were sitting out on the back porch looking at the ocean, and her next-door neighbor walked out on his porch and did the same, waving hello to us as he took in the view. “Hi Tommy,” my friend’s mother said, and then she explained to us after he walked back inside that he was Tommy Hilfiger; he owned the house next door to hers! I’m so fashion-unsconscious that I’d never heard of him, and said, a little louder than I should have, “Tommy who?” and we heard a chuckle from next door.

-Brad in Montréal, where I’m afraid I won’t be shopping for deals on Tommy’s jeans.

  3. Hi Nancy,
Thanks for mentioning Club Fat Ass. Yes, you are right that if there isn’t an event in your neighborhood, we’d love to help you to get started. In Vancouver we started with 1 event, then two in 2003 and now there are over 50. It’s all member driven, but I am here to help.
