OK, here we go now:
1. Ikea is having WackyWednesdays. Seriously good deals, and they’re a good deal to start with.
2. Banana Republic – 20% off Mar. 7 – 9. (thanks for the tip, Bargainista)
3. Remember $2 Tuesdays at theatres (anyone old enough to remember besides me??) They’re back during March Break at Empire Theatres near you! I’m going to see VeggieTales and the Bee Movie, with or without a kid in tow (anyone wanna lend me a kid?)
4. Get political: The Impact on Communities Coalition hosts a fundraiser/pub night, with Jim Green giving a talk on the Expo 86 evictions. More information at www.olympicsforall.ca March 6, 2008 Tix $20 (or whatever you can afford) Alibi Room (157 Alexander)
5. My blogger buddies at Four Pillars have collated some good blog posts about money into a free e-book. It’s got loads of content ranging from how to help preschoolers understand money to millionaire money habits.
ps: you could also save money by making your own soap. i did it once – it was fun, and produced great soap too.
If you know of any good deals, share the intel! leave a comment. (no spamming please, but if you’re providing a good deal by all means let us know)
Thanks for the book plug!
Mike
